By accessing or using Crude Ledger ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Crude Ledger provides a comprehensive financial management platform specifically designed for oil and gas operations, including:

• Joint Interest Billing (JIB) management and tracking
• Mineral interest and royalty management
• Financial reporting and analytics
• Document storage and management
• Multi-tenant data isolation and security

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization.

3.3 Account Security

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.2 Payment Terms

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months of service.

4.4 Plan Changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately, with prorated billing adjustments.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The Service is intended for legitimate oil and gas business operations.

5.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful activity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service to transmit spam or unsolicited communications
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized persons

6. Data and Content

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your data solely to provide the Service.

18. Additional Terms for Enterprise Users

Enterprise customers may have additional terms specified in separate agreements. In case of conflict, the enterprise agreement takes precedence for those users.
